Mutli-threads & -406 problems

Below is a problem forwarded from one of our developers. FYI, the server is on 7.30.UC8 for NCR-Mp-RAS 3.02 ================================ We have a PowerBuilder multi threaded application server running on NT4, SP4. PowerBuilder V6.5 Informix Client V7.2 Each client session opens and closes database connections as required. We have not been able to get database pooling working successfully. The application server runs perfectly for 1day to 1 week with no problem. For no apparent reason it suddenly fails to be able to connect to the database. All client threads generate error -406 Memory allocation failure. The SQL error text return "Unable to load locale categories". The application is using only 20+ MB Ram when the error occurs.
