Hi,
I have a instance called clientes and a database called clientes, and I want
to use the BTS for searching fields like names and addresses.
I follow the steps of the manual:
I added the line in the onconfig:
VPCLASS bts,num=1,noyield
I added a default sbspace:
onspaces -c -S clixsbsdf -p /dev/informix/clientes/chunkX1 -o 1024 -s 1948672
-Df LOGGING=ON
I added the temporary sbspace:
onspaces -c -S tmp1sbs -t -p /dev/informix/clientes/chunkTS1 -o 1024 -s 1948672
and a sbspace for the index:
onspaces -c -S cliysbs -p /dev/informix/clientes/chunkY1 -o 1024 -s 1948672
-Df LOGGING=ON
[informix]/informix11.50FC8> blademgr
clientes>register bts.2.00 clientes
Register module bts.2.00 into database clientes? [Y/n]Y
Registering DataBlade module... (may take a while).
DataBlade bts.2.00 was successfully registered in database clientes.
clientes>exit
Disconnecting...
My table have 128 columns, This table have aprox. 990 000 records.
create table "desclie".rvi_cliente
(
...
nombre char(40) not null ,
direccion char(45) not null ,
...
)
The sentence:
create index "desclie".indbts1_rvi_cliente on "desclie".rvi_cliente (nombre
bts_char_ops)
using bts in cliysbs
it takes several hours and ends with the error:
(BTSA1) - bts clucene error: IO error: IndexInput read past EOF
Why this sentence fails ?
Please, provide any clues according your experience.
I'm using the version 11.50 FC8
Thanks in advance.
The server message log shows that it ran out of sbspace, although the error message on the command line is a bit obscure. The message will change in further versions to something like that FSE IO write error. The sbspace %s might be full, check the online.log (where %s is the name of the sbspace.)
