NEWERA -- field change

A grid form supertable with pessimistic locking. The user changes fields and tabs or traverses to a different row, changes are stored ok. User makes final changes but instead of tabbing off the field immediately clicks out of the table to another area of screen. Final field is NOT changed. Any recommendations for forcing this change.
