We're moving to 7.23 as quickly as possible though... > > <snip> Hi-Eric, Yes we have seen all those reported cases/known-bugs, our problem is not one amoung them and the instance on which we got the "Blocked Checkpoint" is running on On-Line 7.22.UC2, On-Line &.1x had many problems when we started using it and we moved over to 7.22 & 7.23 on our installations. But Informix support is not sure whether this problem is a 7.22 specific one, so we don't intend to move that specific installation to 7.23, but we may move to it to 7.3x later. BTW the machine having this problem is a purely-single cpu machine ( having only one processor and informix engine being configured for one-cpu). Our other single-cpu installations are either not purely - single pcu one ( having more than one cpu and informix being configured for single cpu ), or purely-Xle cpu machines. -- Have a nice day Felix K.
