Problem using bang(!)....Endless Rolling

I am converting from a Bull machine to a Sun Solaris 2.4. It has been 8 weeks I am having loads of trouble. My problem today is going from a Database Menu (informix sql 6.0) with a bang(!) to uniplex word processing. After I exit uniplex the database menu goes on a roll and I have to kill the processes. When I run : isql info -rr rptname from a command line then : uniplex outputname everything is fine. I only have this problem in a Informix User-Menu I am banging my head against the wall. I can find no solutions! Any suggestions would be Greatly Appreciated! Thanks.... Charlene Curley charli@clark.net
