Mathews > mailto:fmathews@systems.dhl.com Felix, I did place that in my onconfig file but the syntax of the script was what I was hoping to get. I tried to alter the existing log_event.sh and the code that Informix provided does not seem to function as intended. I wanted the script to mail me when the logs are 70% full rather than back them up for me. We only have one tape drive and I do not want to be switching tapes all the time. Chad
