If you are one of those who still have that old DOS version you might also have use of a Linux port to have a way to upgrade your customers/users. If that's the case please say so to be counted in support of this. With a Linux port you could easily use MS Access via ODBC. Remember Linux is an essentially free (except for the work required to install it) OS that can be run on fairly small PC's. Integrating it in a Windows 95/NT network is allso easy and free except for the network hardware and work to do it. Otherwise with Informix databases you can generally only use ODBC with the engine running on a Unix or Windows NT server and only on version 4.x and later for the drivers I know about. :2-) Is There any ODBC that I can use for informix. Check http://www.openlinksw.com for a free trial version. Also check the FAQ for other drivers.
