Informix Authentication Methods

I have been given the task of finding any and all info regarding user authentication methods for Informix's databases. What is of interest to me is: For each version of the databases, what user auth. methods are/were available? ex. version 5.x supported username/password and Kerberos; version 7.3 of Dynamic supports Joe's Login screen etc. NOTE: These are obviously fictitious examples. I will appreciate as much feedback (and/or pointers to resources) as possible.
