Translating with DrWatson… this can take a few seconds the first time.
This is a genuine, complex translation. DrWatson protects commands, error codes, and log output while naturally translating the surrounding text. It’s translated once and saved.

I have a programmer trying to get a count of the distinct occurrences of
three columns.
They have tried the following with no luck:
Select count (distinct column_a, column_b, column_c) NOGOOD
Select count (distinct column_a||column_b||column_c) NOGOOD
They did however make it quite clear that this worked in Oracle.
Can anyone shed some light so I can save Informix's Reputation.
Thanks
John Paul
