DBCREATE_PERMISSION is not in sysmaster:sysconfig

Greetings family.
Hurray!! I'm back in an Informix environment!! (Although that's not currently my primary function.) Working in 11.10 environment, hopefully to upgrade to 11.70 shortly.
In any case, I had asked the local server admin to add my login to the DBCREATE_PERMISSION LIST and he has done so and I should have the necessary access at the next bounce. But in the process I got curious and ran this query in sysmaster:
select cf_name, cf_original, cf_effective
from sysconfig
where cf_name matches "DB*"
or cf_name matches "NET*"
order by cf_name;
It shows both NETTYPE entries (and a few other DB-starters, e.g. DBSERVERNAME) but not DBCREATE_PERMISSION.
Anybody got a clue why not?
Thanks mucho all. And it will be nice to get back on this group. (Hmm, should I also post in LinkedIn?)

You can post here or on the IIUG Forums which have mostly superceded this
older newsgroup. Most of us ols timers still monitor both, but the newbies
are mostly on the IIUG Forums.
Not showing up in sysconfig usually means that the parameter is not set in
the ONCONFIG file.

It looks to me like the code that handles pseudo-tables has entries related
to NETTYPE, but does not have entries related to DBCREATE_PERMISSION. This
probably qualifies as a bug of omission. (I looked at the 11.70(.xC6)
source.)

Jonathan,
If it is indeed a newly discovered bug, I'm obviously back in my old form: My first on-the-job foray into Informix in 3 years and already I've discovered a bug!
Does this qualify me for a Dubious Achievement award? ;-)
Anyway, now that we have noticed it, might I request a bug report be created for it? I presume it won't be an emergency, top-priority, overnight fix.
Thanks.
