Add database requires JDK1.2+ ??

We tried the "supported" Informix JDBC v1.4, but it has problems with views, so all the tables come through, but they have no columns defined. At one time I had success with version 2.00, but I'm rebuilding, and must have done something slightly different this time. Now, whenever I try to add a database, the JDBC drivers simply claim they require JDK1.2+ and give up. I have no problems with the driver demos on the command line. Am I missing some set up in Silverstream that tells it what jdk to use? I've got SS 2.5, Sun JDK1.2.1, Informix JDBC 2.00jc1 Having exhausted other possibilities, I plan to reinstall Silverstream while jdk1.1.6 is not installed on the machine (I suspect some autodetection going on) -Carl Freeland Metamor Technologies, Inc.
