Opaque data types and the wire listener
Posted in 2017
All, I hope I am not being REALLY stupid here - but please do tell me if I = am. 12.10.FC9DE We extensively use an opaque data type guid It is implemented as a blade from some code IBM distributed It works perfectly (tm) Now some users need to access the tables that contain the guid type via = the mongo wire listener The wire listener, of course, uses JDBC, to access the data If I try to retrieve data from the collection that represents the table = with the guid type in it=20 db.users.find() I get Error: error: { "code" : -79769, "ok" : 0, "$err" : "A customized type map is required for this data type. = (SQL Code: -79769, SQL State: IX000)" } Now the blade source code comes with java classes that apparently = implement the opaque type The question is - what do I need to do to get this class into the wire = listener please note 1) I have no idea if this is exactly the correct question 2) What I know about java could be written in capital letters on the = back of a postage stamp and still leave a=20 lot of white space. TIA =E2=80=94 Clive
