4GL Forms Directory

I am sure this is a simple one, but my 4GL is not quite as good as my engine knowledge. I have a developer who is asking me how he runs a 4GL application in a different directory from his current one and access forms from that application which are themselves in a different directory again. He can start the application OK, but it fails to find the form unless it is in the same directory as the application 4GL. Can anyone shed light on this ?
