Latest and Greatest

Mike Magie asked for the latest version of Informix 11 and where to download it. Art Kagel said it is IDS 11.50, with a Developer Edition on the IIUG site and evaluations on the main Informix page. Fernando Nunes said xC2 was not out and an 11.50.xC1W1 should be on FixCentral. Mike posted that he had found it himself.

All - What is the latest version of 11? I thought it was 11.5 but wanted to confirm -my colleague went to download it and saw no 11.5 - also if an IBM'er could point me to the download site/location it would be appreciated. Mike
Latest is indeed IDS 11.50. I don't remember if the xC2 release is out yet, though. What are you looking for? A Developer's Edition is on the IIUG site for download. If you need an eval of one of the licensed versions (Express, Workgroup, or Enterprise) just go to the main Informix page ( www.informix.com still works - or works again anyway ;-) There's a <Featured Downloads> box there now. I believe you could find demo version from IIUG site or http://www.ibm.com/developerworks/downloads/im/ids/dev.html?S_TACT=105AGX28&S_CM P=TRIALS Regards, --- On Tue, 7/29/08, MIKE MAGIE <jmmagie@yahoo.com> wrote: > From: MIKE MAGIE <jmmagie@yahoo.com> > Subject: Latest and Greatest [12941] > To: ids@iiug.org > Date: Tuesday, July 29, 2008, 10:32 AM > All - > > What is the latest version of 11?
