I just read a page on this in the Performance Tuning Training manual. Queries NOT parallelized: * The query does not contain any "parallizable" operations (scans, joins, aggregates, or groups) * The query is optimized with CURSOR STABILITY isolation level. * Query uses a cursor with CURSOR declared FOR UPDATE or WITH HOLD * The query is a parent query of a correlated subquery * The query contains an SPL call. -- Bill Ennis Voice: 312-474-7516 SSA Fax: 312-474-7460 500 W.
