Did you set up hosts.equiv, as described here: https://www.ibm.com/support/knowledgecenter/en/SSGU8G_12.1.0/com.ibm.admin.d oc/ids_admin_1407.htm How do you know that it's a trust issue and not a firewall problem or something? -----Original Message----- From: ids-bounces@iiug.org [mailto:ids-bounces@iiug.org] On Behalf Of MUKESH TANUKU Sent: Tuesday, June 27, 2017 11:33 AM To: ids@iiug.org Subject: Trusted Connection on Windows Environment [39458] Hello All, How to establish trusted connection to implement HDR on Windows server. I had already provided an answer weeks ago. http://smooth1.co.uk/installs/dbinstalls.html#3.2.2 - Create c:\\\\Windows\\\\System32\\\\drivers\\\\etc\\\\hosts.equiv on both hosts and add hostname of the other server Regards, David. > On 27 June 2017 at 18:32 MUKESH TANUKU <mukeshbt1328@gmail.com> wrote: > > > Hello All, > > How to establish trusted connection to implement HDR on Windows server. > > Please need in detail steps, since last 1 month im trying but no solution. > > SQLHOSTS, hosts files are placed in %INFORMIXDIR%\\\\etc > > Please any one help me > > > ******************************************************************************* > Forum Note: Use "Reply" to post a response in the discussion forum. >
Hello Mike,
Thanks for your response.
I ahve set the hosts.equiv file on both servers
Location: C:\\\\Windows\\\\System32\\\\drivers\\\\etc\\\\
hosts.equiv file contains hostname and user
I know that this is a trust connection problem, from DBACCESS it is connecting
but promting for username and password.
an also in Message log it say that connecting to secondary failed.
After HDR setup
the output of onstat -g dri says that the HDR status is OFF.
so from this icame to know that this is a trust connection problem.
And the website you mentioned is not working.
The link works - it just gets split over lines when posted to the board.
Here's a tinyurl instead:

There have been multiple replies to your question, including detail, which
should help you get this done.
Mike
