I don't know the details apart from the date(1) command only accepting 2 digit years, but HP have been advising their customers to upgrade. From the HP website at: http://hpcc920.external.hp.com/ibpprogs/gsy/advantage/dec96/news/2.html "HP-UX 10.30, which is scheduled to ship in the second quarter of 1997, will support complete Y2K functionality. HP also will update earlier versions of HP-UX 10.X (versions 10.01, 10.10 and 10.20) to make them Year 2000 ready by the end of 1997. HP is encouraging customers with HP-UX 9.x and earlier versions to upgrade to HP-UX 10.x." > >Ian Lesley
