switch from 5.08UD1 to 7.x on Solaris

Hi every body, Does any body knows advantages and disadvantages of switching from OnLine 5.08UD1 to 7.x? Our company has bought 35 complete packages of informix products 5.08 containing OnLine,ISQL,4GL related products,INet,Istar and so on, but now we have a lot of problems which some of them are fixed in 7.x. for example archving > 2GB,restoring a single dbspace,problem of logical log ful and many other. Management assigned me to prepare a report of complete diffrences and new features for switching. We have 35 sub companies which each has about 100-150 users and we should upgrade all 35 packages.
