Jarrod,
How can I change the status of Mirror chunk as Primary
chunk ?

mirror the whole dbspace in question.
bring down the chunk you want to move using onspaces.(primary)
relink the chunk to be moved to a new unused raw device.(make sure
permissions are ok!!)
bring up the 'moved ' and 'downed' chunk using onspaces.
get rid of mirorring if required.
