We have gone live on financials, and are getting going on Distribution (OM, Inventory etc). We are working through some WAN issues with performance using 3-Tier. No show stoppers, but some work ahead. Informix works fine - no big issues there. Some smaller ones. You definitely need a good DBA - lots of index changes and other things to tune it. We have 40+ full time equivalents working on the project between IS and users. You need "functional" (analyst type) people with a lot of testing (we outsourced a lot of it). Need someone to do performance stuff. Hope that helps.
