NEWERA - wot no wif!

I have been attempting to create a base class for the file maintenance of super tables. That is, some standard fields, navigation and action buttons. But I gave up because I could not drag the other required fields to the base class using the screen painter. Yesterday I was told that serious developers do not use the window painter and that I could not develop a serious class structure in conjunction with the window painter. Most developers only use the window painter to establish the field coordinates then continue development in 4gl. Is this correct? -- Mike Ripley
