We'll need some additional info: What does the informix log contain? Can you determine where the memory is going? Informix processes, others, etc... Where's the rest of the Onconfig file? How much physical mem on the system? How much paging space is configured on the system? What types of operations are being initiated by your code? You have set SHMTOTAL = 0, which means that Informix has no limit ( other than the obvious one you've reached ) on the number of Segments it can allocate. This is assuming the Informix Online Log file indicates a number of acquired segments! You should set this to a reasonable value based on the memory usage characteristics of the system in question. Consider: total real memory, total paging space, and memory requirements of all non-informix subsystems running on the system. I would also question why you would have 24 LRUs and only 200 BUFFERS?
