dostats error
Hi, since updating a database to 11.50UC3(from 10.x) we got the following error in the dostats output. Error: systdistold...Cannot Update statistics for procedure: systdistold. SQL=-674, ISAM=0. Dostats Version: dostats: Features Version 4.8, Source Revision: 1.59 ! Copyright 1996-2001 by Art S. Kagel. Hm, cant find sysdistold in the database. Its possible to correct this error? Or i need a newer version of dostats? Thanks Sebastian
You have a VERY old version of dostats (the latest release is 1.159 IB) that is missing some code to protect it when running in an upgraded server. When you upgrade, the server renames the old sysdist() function (since it is not compatible with the new version's data structures) and installs a new one. The rename is to simplify a reversion back to the older release if needed. I'm sending updated source with the next release of dostats to your googlemail address. Art Art S.
