Informix Contractor-Immediate Need

Cayman Systems in Cambridge has an immediate need for an Informix Database Developer. The contract will be 2-4 weeks in length, and the individual will be working directly with internal customers to complete development on a QA database. REQUIREMENTS: A minimum of 5 years development experience using Informix-4gl, SQL and the "C" programming language. Experience with both the Informix Standard and On-Line engines and an in-depth knowledge of the UNIX operating system are also required. Ability to write UNIX shell scripts is important. Must have a demonstrated ability to translate imformaation needs into system requirements and to implement those requirements, frequently managing multiple projects with conflicting priorities.
