I've always been perfectly content with it. As to what good is ESQL/C, writing efficient code easily springs to mind. But of course efficiency is becoming something fewer and fewer people seem to care about, as is ease of development/maintenance. After all, with less efficient code, hardware vendors can make more sales as they come out with ever-faster processors. And with hard to maintain code, contractors can always have an excuse for billing more time. > Nils.Myklebust@idg.no > NM Data AS, P.O.Box 9090 Gronland, N-0133 Oslo, Norway > My opinions are those of my company > The Informix FAQ is at http://www.iiug.org -- - Danny Wright danwright@bigfoot.com #include <stddisclaimers.h> Idiot, n.: A member of a large and powerful tribe whose influence in human affairs has always been dominant and controlling. - Ambrose Bierce, "The Devil's Dictionary"
