Using EXEPTION

Hi All ! I will try to describe my problem. I have some Stored Procedure that calls some executable.This axecutable update some table.There is a trigger that execute another Stored procedure with RAISE EXEPTION. Is that possible to catch this EXCEPTION in the first Stored Procedure? I want to use it as a sign that executable finished to work. Regards Igor
