I am working on a project on AIX/RS6000, and we are facing similar performance problems. We did run the explain with both the programs; and with the queries under isql and noticed that informix is doing a sequential scan instead of using the indexes. We are doing selects from joined tables; and yes, all our key fields are equated on the where clause. Please, let me know I you find any answers to the problem.
