NT 4.0 client connection problem to HpUx 11 IDS

Hi, I'm currently experiencing problems when trying to install Informix CLI 2.80 or Intersolv 3.01 datadirect odcd drivers. I keep getting error -908, I've put the relevant entries the in host and services files and check the tcp port matches the Unix server service port. All of the entries in 'setnet' are correct, yet I still get this error. I've installed the client drivers on Windows-95 countless times, and have usually got around this problem by checking the hosts / services / tcp/ip network setting , and the Informix server environmentals. I've even copied the relevant hive within the registry as in says in the client installation documentation for NT users.
