I haven't had a problem. It doesn't appear to be an "informix" related error message. I would suggest that you make sure you can connect to the host and port using windows telnet. "telnet HOSTNAME HOSTPORT" If you connect with no errors and then get disconnected (again without error) then you should be able to connect. Other wise I would expect that there is a problem between you and the server, ports are blocked on a firewall, or the information is wrong. I would suggest making sure all of the values you entered are correct.
