IDS 9.4 UC5 on Linux 2.6.8

Hi, I tried to install IDS 9.4 UC5 under a linux 2.6.8 (SuSe 9.2, minimal-installation). Priot I installed the compat-2004.9.6-2.i586.rpm as an alternative to the required compat-libstdc++-7.3-2.96.122.i386.rpm. But the informix-installation fails with etc/install: line 271: 14313 UngÃ¼ltiger Maschinenbefehl ${BRAND} -n -s ${SERNUM} ${KEY} ${NAM} Any ideas? Thanks in advance! Bye Markus
