Obviously the form expects American date formats (mm/dd/yy). I don't know
if Q+E allows alternative formats but you can define INFORMIX date formats
by setting the DBDATE environment variable thus:
DBDATE=dmy2/ means dd/mm/yy format using "/" as the separator - the "2"means the year will be represented by the last two digits only.
DBDATE=mdy4/ would expect dates of the form mm/dd/yyyy - I think thisis the default, so even if DBDATE is null this will be the case.
BTW - what will happen in the year 2000? I'm using the two-digit year
format -
does this mean that 93 will be read as 2093 or 1993???
