DBLANG variable on Win NT 4.0 (Infx 7.22 OL)

Having problems with connecting to an OL 7.22, Windows NT 4.0. When I run the finderr command in the command line interface, I get the error "Unable to find informix error message file"."Check enviroment variables INFORMIXDIR AND DBLANG". At the command line interface, from the command "set | more", the DBLANG=$INFORMIXDIR\\msg and INFORMIXDIR = C:\\INFORMIX. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Tim Jones
