I would like to know if (with these few details) if anyone >might have an opinion on this. I have been using ESQL/C, Informix SE, and INET for the past two months. I have been favorable impressed by the products. My system consists of the DB on an AT&T '386 with copies of the application running on Suns. This has been my first database application. I found that I could read the documentation, and have things working fairly quickly. The choice of Informix was made because the client already had the SE engine on a machine with cycles to spare. I've no reason to regret this decision. Go for it! Alan Prehmus prehmus@cgi.com
