http://www.informixhandbook.com/ Ron Flannery: The INFORMIX Handbook http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/0130122475/qid=1151609710/sr=1-1/ref=sr_1_1 /104-2128462-7457554?s=books&v=glance&n=283155 The hardcover book is a little out of date, but the basic understanding you get of INFORMIX makes it a great read. I read it cover to cover for fun, then earmarked and dogeared and tabbed it with stickies like you wouldn't believe. I use it almost every day (mainly because I'm not a programmer and have to write lots of code anyway). So, wondering what the best books to get for an in depth understanding of Informix are, form internal architecture to SQL to 4GL, something that covers it all. The IBM docs. are okay but looking for a thrid part authored book for a more congenial read... Most places seem to not carry Informix books, or any of the good ones I've seen are out of print. That's why I'm asking the experts. Any thoughts? Thanks for you time, Tam. _______________________________________________ Informix-list mailing list Informix-list@iiug.org http://www.iiug.org/mailman/listinfo/informix-list
