Hello,
apart from editing ONCONFIG directly, some parameters are dynamically
changeable:
Usage: onparams ...
-m <param> <value>
...
-m - Modify the value of one of the following configuration parameters:
AFFAIL, AFCRASH, AFWARN, AFLINES, LTXHWM, LTXEHWM, DYNAMIC_LOGS
...
onmode ...
-W {STMT_CACHE_NOLIMIT {0|1} | STMT_CACHE_HITS <#>} Sets ssc
parameters.
-wf <onconfig parameter>=<value> Update the value
of the specified configuration parameter and save
the new value to the onconfig file.
-wm <onconfig parameter>=<value> Update the value of
the specified configuration parameter without saving
the new value to the onconfig file. The new value is
written to server memory only and will not be retained
once the server is restarted.
Memory Grant Manager parameters (see onstat -g mgm) are changeable via
onmode (-S, -Q, -M, -D) or onmode -wf/-wm.
If you try to change a not allowed parameter via onmode, you receive:
$ onmode -wm STMT_CACHE_NOLIMIT=0Configuration Parameter to be changed is not valid or not supported with
this option.
Unfortunately onmode -wm/-wf does not return the list of changeable
parameters.
Yet, I couldn't find a list of all parameters changeable online (with which
command and option).
