When I say no problems I mean no MAJOR problems(ie. lost data, long outages...). Most problems we have encountered we have been able to work around(live and learn). We are running this on an AT&T(NCR) 3000 series box with 8 Pentium processors and 1GB of memory. The disk is an external disk array vendored by EMC. We are in the process of creating a database that will grow to be larger than this on the DEC/ALPHA platform, no details on this yet. For us to monitor the effectiveness of our fragmentation strategy we created many(>200) dbspaces so that each table fragment resided in its own dbspace. Currently our largest table is over 30GB. As far as performance that is relative, are users are not complaining. This is a decision support application with >30 users running a Windows App on the client.
