Re: KAIO perf on HPUX

At least some of your message appears to have been lost, but I think your basic premise is correct ... kaio is not quite the panacea we had hoped it owuld be. I'm running 7.22 on a 4x K420 with HPUX 10.20, and performance with kaio on is less than desireable. (I'm not supposed to say on the internet anymore what it really does, but let's just say that it blows in the wrong direction ... ;-) I think Informix understands this and is looking into it, but I don't have a bug number for it. We were seeing about a 15-1 degredation in times with kaio on vs. off. David >Hi, >We are running Online version 7.23 on a 2 processor HP machine >(HP-UX version 10.20).
