I think we have done to death this issue. We now know that all database companies watch what happens on c.d.i, and I supect on all the other c.d's We should all therefore be very careful what we say in these pages. Certainly I have been able to use some of the information that Oracle people put in c.d.i. as justification as to why people should use Informix. I haven't quoted them directly, but merely alluded to it. It cuts both ways. What I would suggest to everybody is that issues like this can never be resolved no matter how much is written by each side. Most of it becomes personal back-biting which the rest of us do not want to hear. In that case as these discussions start to get personal why don't the parties discuss it by regular personal e-mail and then let us know when they have reached agreement on the facts. - Which would save Internet a great deal of bandwidth and would save us all reading a lot of HOT AIR.
