I was aware of the 7.1X problems... Am hoping that Informix had the
foresight to ensure
that the fixes got into a tier 1 port.
Informix just had me try adding more temp space to the engine ( now at 2.5
GB ) still get the
same errors. The problem is now being escalated.
Will let you know what the problem was/is and the fix...

You get -111 regular on the update stats on the 7.1x engines. It is due
to the order in which processing is done wtih the engine. I was led to
believe by ITS that a record was being cleared before it was meant to be.
ie Do the sub-statement, clear the reporting record, check did it work
OK. If there is a 'real' error it will still be picked up.
It is supposed to be cleared in the >7.2x releases.
