Nasty gotcha!

This is a fyi for all you informixers out there, send me an email if you run across this one also. The following is a description of the informix bug encountered on the new version of informix (5.02.uc1) OS - SunOS 4.1.3_U1 Online Version 5.02.uc1 Problem: Informix Engine Freezes up. Tbinit waiting on a buffer. Bug # 13587 No verified version it exists in. No solution. Description: After 'upgrading' our online engine to 5.02.uc1 the engine began to hang at various times during the day, usually at least twice a day. There seemed to be no one circumstance that lead to the incident each time. After calling informix we found out this is bug #13587. Interesting considering this new version was supposed to be bug fixes.
