I am running RDS 4.10.UC4 and unconditional insert/update/delete statements in 4GL work fine. In fact, I recall reading (prob in the ISQL manual) a warning that, while an interactive sql command will warn and prompt, in 4GL it just does it, assuming the programmer knows what (s)he is doing. Whether this assumption is valid, I leave to circumstances and your judgement...:) Peter Wiley
