1363 Error - Memory using New Era App on Windows 3.11

HELP!!!! We are experiencing great problems with trying to track down intermittant error messages we are getting when deploying a new application to the desktop. The application has been written in New Era 2.1 and the error that we are getting doesn't happen on every machine, nor when accessing a particular part of the code. It just appears when it feels like it. Additionally it may appear on a machine, and then not happen again (to our knowledge). It is a problem enough of happening to half of our machine when first loading the application. If we reboat, on most machines it disappears, and then on some it continues. The machines and configuration are identical, as are the programs running at the time of loading the app. The message is: 1363 Error - Program attempted to read outside the momory belonging to the application. Has anyone come across something like this before? We have contacted Informix to no avail and are fast coming to the conclusion that this application isn't meant to be.
