We are using informix 9.4 FC2 on HP-UX11i. We are running Baan ERP application on the server rp7410. My users are getting connected to the ERP application thru client installed on their desktop. If user application process gets terminated, we find corresponding informix thread still runs and uses lot of memory segment. Informix thread/process does not get terminated along with termination of parent process id. Is there any setting by which, when parent id gets terminated, corresponding informix processes will also get terminate. we need not use onmode -z command to terminate this informix session.
