You can almost certainly install it -- it might even work. The Caldera kernel is 2.0.33; I don't know that it will matter that the Slackware kernel is older. You may have problems if Slackware uses glibc (libc6), or you may be OK. It appears that the software can work on RedHat which has glibc, even though it was compiled on Caldera 1.2 which uses libc5.
