Mario, Continuos logical log backup needs a dedicated terminal. I usr 'automatic backup' of the logical logs instead. The log_full event alarm triggers the log_full.sh script in $INFORMIXDIR/etc. This script then can activate an onbar -l command.Hope this helps. Carl in Atlanta Mario B.
