IDS 9.4, IBM 445, hyperthreading performance

Hi all Has anyone had any experience with IDS 9.4 running on SuSe on a IBM 445 with hyperthreading enabled ? We are currently installing on this platform and I and curious to see how the hyperthreading improves performance. I am getting conflicting arguments either way .... thanks
