On the AIX version, the clients directory, along with everything else is still in cpio format. So the whole 250Mb has to be loaded, and then ftp'ed (or Samba'ed) back to the workstation, which can then install. Total space required 600Mb. Glad, you got your manuals for free, mine are going to cost me *when* Informix ordering authority works out if they're in existence.
