Not in Server Studio but
- a DBA could do onmode -Y (?) for a session and get the sql that is
executed.
- a DBA could install Informix SPY to capture info.
- which programming language is the client written in?
there and ODBC and JDBC tracing abilitys and esql/c or 4gl has
SQLIDEBUG.

I seem to recall Server Studio has a facility whereby a function (i.e.
stored procedure) can be traced such that the code is displayed as it is
executed (a la Interactive Debugger) ? I profess it's been awhile since I
played with ServerStudio. It also depends on whether the original author's
'certain functions' actually meant Informix stored functions/procedures.
William ?
