Sorry I forgot to say that by creating the ESQL/C in its own function library, I compile that to the object level and link it in, thereby reducing the possibility of C++ reserve name problems. IMHO, with New Era being a C++ derivitive, I think that you should not have any problems with the C++ compiler. -Mikey
