dbschema on Informix online 7.11

I've tried to get a schema with dbschema of any existing database on my
Informix online 7.11 Server. I always get the message
"Spalte (idxname{1}) ist in keiner Tabelle enthalten"
(I think the english message would look like: "No Table contains column
(idxname{1})")
Only if there is no table in the database (not very usefull :-/ ) dbschema
works correctly.
Any hints what idxname and/or the number in the brackets means ?

Dieter,
I run 7.11 on Solaris 2.4.
dbschema -d databasename
should dump a dbschema to STDOUT similar to the kind created by
dbexport. dbschema is dependent upon the Informix environment variables
begin set correctly, that the Informix executables are in your PATH, and
that you have connect and read permissions to the database. I have had
similar problems with dbschema in the past when these settings were not
correct. I found that getting dbexport to work consistently solved a
lot of problems with the server.
